One inbox, and it is read: legal@solarbachat.in. We answer within seven working days. Below is how to make each kind of message quick to act on — a message that names the page and the source is usually resolved the same day.

§ 1Report a wrong number

The fastest thing you can send us. Include the three things that make a correction actionable:

  1. the page (the URL, or the city and system size),
  2. the figure you believe is wrong,
  3. what it should be, and the source — a DISCOM tariff order, a quote you actually received, an MNRE notification.

Corrections with a verifiable source are applied and the page’s updated date changes. Where a figure is a model input rather than a market fact, we will say so instead of defending it — the disclaimer lists which figures those are.

§ 2Your data

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write from the address you gave us, or tell us the WhatsApp number you used so we can match the record. Requests are handled under the privacy policy, including your rights under India’s DPDP Act.

To stop installer calls after you have already requested quotes, say so in the same message and we will pass that on to the installers who received the request.

§ 3Installers and partners

Applications, lead credits and top-ups are handled on the installer page — apply there and you will get a workspace with your first free credits. If you are already registered, use the link in your workspace or reply to the message you received with the lead.

§ 4Press and data requests

The figures on this site are reproducible from the published model, and the national numbers carry verification dates on the statistics page. Journalists and researchers are welcome to ask for the underlying dataset or a comment — say which figure and deadline you are working to.

§ 5What we cannot help with

  • Subsidy application status. Applications are filed and tracked at pmsuryaghar.gov.in; we are not the portal and cannot see your file.
  • A dispute with an installer. We introduce you to installers and are not a party to the contract, so we cannot adjudicate it — but tell us anyway if an installer misrepresents prices, because that decides whether they keep receiving leads.
  • Your individual quote. We can explain how a figure was calculated, not what you should sign.
